Ever feel like you don't 'get' modern art?

If you're of the belief science is for some people, and art is for others, check out Josiah McElheny's sculptures. Physics Central has a great blog on McElheny's art, and cosmologist David Weinberg's paper on the&nbs

Time flies-- Hyperbolic Crochet Coral Reef is nearly done.  So it's the perfect time to take a look back at the highlights.  The curators of HCCR have brought something really special to Dublin's Science Gallery, but the amazing enthusiasm of our members, and the visitors who have contributed to the reef has made this a truly unique exhibit.   So taking a look back (or tempting those who are waiting till the last minute to visit)...

Hear about the vision behind HCCR from Margaret Wertheim herself, as she chats in the Science Gallery Cafe

It's festival Season!

ESOF 2010-- aka European City of Science-- is getting ramped up in a month's time in Turin.  Check it out before ESOF descends on Dublin in 2012.
