Celebrating the 150th anniversary of On the Origin of Species

27:11:09 Charles Darwin's On the Origin of Species, was published on Thursday 24 November 1859, and is a seminal work of scientific literature considered to be the foundation of evolutionary biology. During this special week Science Gallery will be marking this 150th anniversary  the launch of the Evolvaphone - a unique collaboration between composer George Higgs and TCD geneticist Dr Aoife McLysaght. Evolvaphone and Darwin

The Evolvaphone event is going to be GREAT! Steve Jones will skype in at the beginning to introduce Darwin, then George and I will give brief talks before we unleash the machine on the audience. Expect the unexpected!
