Your chance to win Golden Tickets during Nanoweek!

If you ever dreamed of having your own Charlie and the Chocolate factory moment and finding that Golden Ticket, you'll have a chance to be the lucky winner of a Golden Ticket at Science Gallery's Nano ice cream van during Nanoweek (30:11:09-04:12:09). While it doesn't let you in to Mr Wonka's Chocolate Factory it gives you an amazing access to multi billion euro nano facilities - Intel and Crann.

As part of Nanoweek only FIVE Golden Tickets are available throughout the country - visiting schools and at the nano ice cream van at Science Gallery.

Each lunchtime during Nanoweek there will be an opportunity to visit the nano ice cream van  at the Science Gallery and assist with nano experiments – as well as getting nano questions answered.  So all you need to do is come along, enjoy a super smooth ice cream where the ice particles are nano sized and check the bottom of your cup - your Golden Ticket could be there!

Leonard Hobbs, from Intel said, “Intel looks forward to hosting a visit for the 5 lucky winners who will enjoy a detailed tour of one of the world’s most advanced nano-manufacturing factories.  They will also get the chance to meet with the senior technologists who make the advanced electronics which power today’s most advanced computers. Similarly, CRANN, based in the Naughton Institute, which also houses the Science Gallery,  has top class nano research labs as well and they will be opening their doors to the lucky golden ticket winners.”

Can’t make it to the nano ice cream van?  No need to worry, there will be a Golden Ticket up for grabs in each area that the nanoscientists will visit as part of their schools programme. Winners will be drawn at random from each region. Just answer the following question
