WEAIRE-PHELAN STRUCTURE

In geometry the Weaire-Phelan structure is a complex three-dimensional structure discovered by Professor Denis Weaire and Robert Phelan, two physicists based at Trinity College Dublin. At BUBBLE you can learn more about this fascinating structure through sculpture, jewellery, an architect's model of the 2008 Beijing Olympics Water Cube which tooks its inspiration from its form.
