Culture Night

BIORHYTHM will be open late (until 11pm) for Culture Night, and we'll have poetry readings, music, workshops, and live broadcasts from the gallery all day!  

3-4pm & 6-7pm: ‘Myths, Mozart and Mindball’ workshop

This workshop will get participants to take part in testing the myths from the science of well known theories such as the Mozart Effect. The workshop will also look at physiological and psychological entrainment and the power of suggestion in response to music and binaural beats. Science Gallery’s ever popular Mindball game will be used to monitor the effects.

4-8pm Spontaneous trad sessions in the gallery

7pm: Poetry Ireland readings 

Featuring: Siobhán Campbell, Seamus Cashman, Gerry Dawe, Mark Granier, and Gerard Smyth 

 7-9pm: Pimp Your T-Shirt with the shape of sound!

 This workshop was very popular at Electric Picnic 2010, and returns in full force to show you the shape of your voice, and immortalize it on a T-shirt.

7-9pm Café: Raidio Na Life live broadcast

9-10:30pm Electroluminescent wire workshop fabulousness!
