LOVE SCIENCE IN 2012

2012 is a big year for us. Dublin will take up tenure as European City of Science 2012, host over 5,000 scientists as part of Euroscience Open Forum, and we will welcome our millionth visitor to Science Gallery since opening in 2008.

So as you might expect, we have an exciting line-up of exhibitions, events and workshops planned. Here’s a sneak preview:

EDIBLE will explore how time, place, technology & taste shape the experience of eaters.

27.04.12 – 01.06.12

HAPPY? will attempt to get to the bottom of exactly why Irish people are so happy.

22.06.12 – 07.09.12

HACK THE CITY, our flagship exhibition for 2012, will demonstrate how innovation can transform our cities from the ground up.

14.09.12 - 14.10.12

NANOLAB will investigate how cutting edge developments in nanotechnology could transform everything from electronics to medicine and clothing.

26.10.12 – 18.1.13

GAME will play with the future of gaming, leveraging Ireland’s emerging role as an important global hub of the games industry.
