Interactive technology workshops at the science gallery
Posted January 15th, 2008 by timredfern
Well I just thought I'd write a bit about a science gallery project which is already underway.
Interactive technology workshops for transition year students have already been underway since november and we're nearly ready to announce the group project we will be showing at lightwave, the inaugural exhibition at the science gallery.
What we've been doing: discussing interactive artworks, making drawbots, choreographing robots, learning basic soldering and electronics, and we are just about to begin learning to program "arduino" open source miccrocontroller development kits.
Hopefully everyone has been enjoying it as much as I have!

"drawbot" art
I would love to see some scans of what the "drawbots" are producing - Have you a link where I could see how they are built?
Thanks
