DIRECTOR: Michael John Gorman Dr Michael John Gorman is the founding Director of Science Gallery. He has extensive international experience in public engagement with science and technology, having created and developed public exhibitions and events in the United States, Europe and Ireland. He was a lecturer in Science, Technology and Society at Stanford University and has held fellowships at Harvard University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in the United States. Prior to joining Science Gallery, he was Senior Manager for the Discover Science & Engineering programme. He has published widely on the relationship between science and the arts in journals including Leonardo and Nature and is the author of books including Buckminster Fuller: Designing for Mobility (Skira, 2005). EVENTS AND COMMUNITY MANAGER: Ian Brunswick A passion for Science Communication means Ian can be seen near the podium for most Science Gallery events, and when he's not there he's probably in the crowd. With a degree in Comparative Literature and a M.Sc. in Science Communication, Ian comes from a background in broadcasting and non-profit work. He likes traveling, sailing, Derek Walcott, and dystopian-future films; and he has lost countless months of his life on David Attenborough nature documentaries. MARKETING AND COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER: Fionn Kidney Fionn likes helping people communicate ideas and to facilitate participation at every opportunity. He worked with some of the world's biggest brands for three years at an agency before setting out on a freelance journey that saw him do everything from producing music videos for the likes of Underworld to an election campaign for a young candidate in the 2011 Irish General Election.
